The final exam study guide has been posted under the assignments link.

The final draft of the Thinking Through History Paper is due on 05-02/05-03 (Monday or Tuesday, depending on when your section meets). Check with your section instructor if you have any questions. We encourage you to make use of the Center for Writing: http://writing.umn.edu/

The last movie night of the semester is on Tuesday, May 3 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM in Anderson 310. We will be showing The Terminal (2004), starring Tom Hanks. Dessert will be served!

We will be showing the film Fog of War: Eleven Lessons From the Life of Robert S. McNamara, directed by Errol Morris, on Thursday April 14 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM in Willey 175. Click here for more information about the film.

We will be showing the film The Salt of the Earth this Thursday (03-24) from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. in Willey 175. Click here for a description of the film and some historical background.

The assignment for your "Thinking Through History" Essay has been posted on the Assignments page. We will discuss this in lecture and discussion on Wednesday/Thursday of this week (March 2 and 3).

We will be handing back the mid-term exams in section on Wednesday/Thursday March 9 and 10.

If you have put off buying Ngai's book until now and are unable to find a copy, there are quite a few available at the bookstore in the Dinkeydome.

The Midterm Study Guide is now on-line. Check the Assignments link. We will distribute copies and discuss in Lecture, Wednesday, February 16th.
